What is MPTCP (Multipath Transmission Control Protocol)?

Multipath Transmission Control Protocol targets permitting a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) association to utilize different ways to boost asset use and increment excess. Multipath TCP empowers inverse multiplexing of resources. Multipath TCP is especially valuable with regards to wireless networks. Multipath TCP is backwards compatible with standard TCP. The IETF introduced the Multipath specification in January 2013, then It was replaced in March 2020 by the Multipath TCP v1 specification.
