What is MEMS (Microelectromechanical systems)?

Microelectromechanical systems are related to micromechatronics and microsystems establish the innovation of microscopic devices. MEMS are comprised of parts somewhere in the range 1 and 100 micrometers in size (i.e., 0.001 to 0.1 mm), and MEMS devices by and large reach in size from 20 micrometers to a millimeter (i.e., 0.02 to 1.0 mm), in spite of the fact that parts organized in clusters can be more than 1000 mm2. They for the most part comprise a central unit that processes data and several components that interact with the surroundings.
